Helicon Filter

Helicon Filter combines the powerful functionality of an advanced photo editor with the ease of use of a basic one. Its user friendly interface and intuitive controls make photo editing accessible even to first-time users. The software comes with many useful tools, which can be used for mostly anything, from simple adjustments to full modifications.

Downloading and installing Helicon Filter may take a few minutes. Its setup package is over 200 MB and you may need to make a few other selections, besides standard ones, like destination, shortcuts and so on. The program is compatible with all modern Windows platforms and it shouldn't cause any problems on a modern-day computer.

The most important aspect of Helicon Filter is the fact that you can do everything, from importing a picture to exporting a modified one, on the same window, without bringing up any additional menus. Pictures can be imported at a moment's notice with the aid of a built-in file explorer, located on the left side of the user interface.

Once a picture is imported, you can choose one of many operations by selecting its corresponding icon on a toolbar. Options for adjusting, correcting and so on can be fond on the right side of the window. A few quick editing options are available, for fast adjustments to a picture's brightness, white balance and other characteristics.

Besides color adjustments, it is also possible to make various fixes, like removing red eyes, skin defects or scratches on a photo. Additionally, the software lets you select and remove specific objects in a photo or replace them.

Most adjustments can be made just by clicking and dragging a series of sliders or dots on a curve, while others require clicking and dragging over the photo itself. If your work doesn't come out as you expect, you can undo all changes from one set of options, with a single click.
